Mozart: Lucio Silla

This youthful work from Mozart shakes up the codes of the opera seria and prefigures Romanticism. The audacious and subtle modulations of the voices, the refined orchestration and the solemn accents of the chorus make this work a pioneering opera of the romantic aesthetic. Laurence Equilbey at the head of her Insula Orchestra has brought together a magnificent vocal cast: Franco Fagioli, Olga Pudova, Alessandro Liberatore and Chiara Skerath.
